Serving more than a daily dose of caffeine to SeaTac Washington, since 2008, our 2014 Indie Award winner is an inspiration to their community. They hold countless fundraisers for high schools, children at a local hospital and other community members.

Trio Hardware

In addition to being one of the founding members of the Plainview Chamber of Commerce, Trio sponsors the local high school robotics team, they give two scholarships yearly to a graduating male and female student, they hire locally, and they sponsor little league and soccer teams.

Our mission at Independent We Stand is to inspire small business owners to discover their local roots and help consumers understand the importance of supporting them.


In 2011, we created the Independent Small Business of the Year Award or "Indie" to help recognize a locally-owned small business that has gone above and beyond to deliver great customer service and community support.

If you know of such a company, or own or work for such a company, please take the time to nominate that business and help us promote the importance of supporting locally owned small businesses. The winner will receive a host of great prizes provided by Independent We Stand, its sponsors and partners.
