According to statistics from the National Retail Federation, the average person will spend $147, on candy, flowers, jewelry and assorted gifts. $1.9 billion is expected to be spent on flowers this year. With flowers being a Valentine’s Day staple, why not spread the love locally? Instead of picking up some roses at a big box store or ordering them from an unknown 800 number; consider a visit to your local independent florist. We've selected ten independent florists, across the country, to help you to think local!
