This spring, the American Independent Business Alliance (AMIBA) will host local business leaders from across the U.S. for a two-and-a-half-day conference in Madison, Wisconsin. The 2020 Vision conference will facilitate idea-sharing, skill-sharpening and movement-building to empower attendees to strengthen their local economies. With 2020 Vision, independent business leaders can see a clearer path to success.
The conference will follow the theme of “Local Economies for the 21st Century.” Attendees can expect to engage in roundtable discussions; small-group, deep-dive sessions with subject-matter experts; and interactive breakout sessions that explore some of the most pressing issues of the day related to local business. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to network with each other during six shared meals throughout the multi-day conference.
The opportunity to network and collaborate will be familiar to AMIBA members. AMIBA brings together local business owners and advocates to form local business alliances. These alliances can work on behalf of their members and all local businesses in the area to raise awareness for independents and to support each other on an ongoing basis. With the 2020 Vision conference, AMIBA will bring independent business leaders together on a national stage, allowing participants to develop ideas and share best practices with peers from other communities across the country. By facilitating communication and collaboration in this way, AMIBA will strengthen local economies through their independent business networks.
The 2020 Vision conference will take place April 22-24, 2020, in Madison, Wisconsin. Interested participants can register online and apply for a limited number of scholarships. With 2020 Vision, independent business leaders will be better equipped to support their local economies. For more information about AMIBA or the 2020 Vision conference, visit www.amiba.net.
