Last Valentine’s Day, the National Retail Federation projected that the average person would spend $130.97 on gifts for their loved ones, reaching a total of $18.6 billion nationwide.* While the results for 2014 have yet to be released, we can expect that Valentine’s Day will remain one of the top gift-giving holidays of the year.
Wouldn’t it be nice to share some of that love with our communities? By shopping local for flowers, chocolates, cards and other gifts, more of your money stays in the local economy.
