Sedona Paint Center Supports Animal Rescuers

Independent business owners often display unparalleled passion for their field of work. Sometimes, their passions even take them beyond their business and into the community. Michael and Michelle Lloyd, owners of Sedona Paint Center in Sedona, Ariz., combine their passions for small business and animal rescue by giving back whenever possible.

“It is our pleasure to give back to the community that supports Sedona Paint Center,” Michelle says. “We are animal advocates and support several local animal rescue organizations.” In particular, Sedona Paint Center supports the Verde Valley Humane Society, Morning Starr Animal Sanctuary Spay Neuter Clinic, and Golden Bone Rescue & Rehab/Pet Products.

Serving these organizations takes place both in the paint store, a PPG Pittsburgh independent dealer, and around the community. Michelle is on the Board of the Verde Valley Humane Society, and Michael has given his time to teach shelter volunteers and staff members how to paint. The couple also advertises animal rescue events in the store with posters, fliers and donation boxes.

During April and May, Sedona Paint Center will serve as a venue for Art for Sedona’s Sake, a local arts and crafts show. “In turn, Thom Stanley, who organizes the event, supports animal rescue organizations and other local charities.”

In business, the Lloyds’ passion for their business is evident in the wide selection of paint and coatings they offer. Although the store is located in Arizona, Michael and Michelle have customers as far away as New York and Kentucky thanks to their expertise and inventory.

When it comes to doing business and giving back, Michael and Michelle Lloyd put their time and their money where their passions are. For more information about Sedona Paint Center, visit www.sedonapaintcenter.com.
