Sosler’s Garden & Farm Equipment Helps Local Families

For more than 60 years, Sosler’s Garden & Farm Equipment has brought the Sosler family and the New Hampton, New York, community together. This multigenerational family business works year-round to provide the seasonal equipment and services that the community needs, whether that means quick tractor repairs during harvest or reliable snow removal equipment during winter. During the holidays, the Sosler family fulfills another seasonal need by lending a hand to United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots.

Brothers Raymond and William Sosler established the Sosler family business in 1952. Thanks to their upbringing on a family farm, the Sosler brothers were used to working together as a family, and they were uniquely familiar with the needs of local farmers. They grew a successful business and built a strong connection with the community. Since then, the business and the family have grown. Sosler’s is a 3rd generation business and is currently run by Raymond Jr. and Raymond III, Raymond’s son and grandson.

Sosler’s has succeeded thanks to a hardworking family and their desire to fulfill a need in the community. With this rich history behind them, supporting local families during the holiday season comes naturally to the Soslers. Throughout the season, Sosler’s collected toys and gifts for the local Toys for Tots program, which distributes the items to registered families in Orange County, NY.

“The Toys for Tots fundraiser is a great way to give something back to the local community during the holiday season of giving,” says Raymond III. “All the toys collected go to local families.”

Beyond the community and beyond the holiday season, Sosler’s supports another family-friendly charity. “Nationally, we donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and try to raise awareness for that great cause,” Raymond says.

Sosler’s Garden & Farm Equipment is a family business through and through. In business, for 63 years, the Sosler family works together to support local customers.
