National Small Business Week is June 17 – 21 and we’re celebrating with a contest for small businesses and locavores!

In honor of National Volunteer Week, we’re showcasing the contributions of small business owners to their community. We conducted the Second Annual Independent We Stand Community Support Index, to gauge the level of involvement small businesses have with local charities.
This past weekend, Independent We Stand was honored to share in the excitement as STIHL Inc. came together with the City of Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation and locally owned K & D Round’s Landscape Services to beautify Beach Garden Park in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
